CRESTVIEW HILLS, KENTUCKY; July 25, 2013 – The Bank of Kentucky announced today that its Second Annual Charity Golf Outing benefitting The Giving Fields / Freestore Foodbank being held on Friday, July 26th has reached full attendance. The Giving Fields is a community farm that helps alleviate hunger in the community by growing fresh produce for the Northern Kentucky agencies of the Freestore Foodbank.
Over 150 golfers will participate in The Bank of Kentucky’s fundraising event being held at Twin Oaks Golf & Plantation Club in Latonia, KY. All proceeds from the outing benefit The Giving Fields / Freestore Foodbank. Besides the golf scramble, the event features a driving contest against President & CEO, Robert Zapp, a silent auction for trips to Florida, tickets to Kentucky Speedway, and much more. In addition, the “most creative dress” contest will recognize the foursome with the most creative costume.
Robert Zapp, President & CEO commented, “We are very fortunate to have so many customers and friends support the outing again this year and join us in benefitting another great organization. The Bank of Kentucky is excited to host the event and I look forward to having fun on the course.” Zapp added, “Community outreach and volunteerism at The Bank of Kentucky are core values that have been at the heart of the company since opening our doors more than twenty years ago. Supporting the work of The Giving Fields, particularly their efforts in Northern Kentucky with the Freestore Foodbank, is another example of our commitment to making a lasting impact in the communities we serve.”
